15 July - Castro Urdiales to Islares

Stayed in a private pension last night, right on the marina front. Sunrise view from room this morning:

Stunning scenery again today.  A mix of coastline track and inland, with a wee section alongside the B road.

Great cafe stop in the shade.

Staying in a hotel in Islares. Have a huge room with lounge, balcony and a bath!! Can't wait for a hot soak. Will enjoy 👌 tomorrow's accommodation is at a monastery so will be quite a contrast!

Note the temperature 34 degrees. Hot with no breeze. 🌞 Feeling the weight in my pack, so might need to offload unnecessary stuff ... big call! Feet are good! 👣👣👣

Note the mountain in background, there is a track around the cliff which is an alternative to the Camino trail. Considering taking that route tomorrow, locals discourage it and say to exercise caution. Will sleep on it  😀
