17 July - Loredo to Noja
Left Loredo and walked 5km along beach to get a wee ferry to Santoña.
No trouble heading downhill with the backpack. Loved the soft sand and warm water at the beach in Noja. Enjoyed an afternoon swim before heading out for dinner.
Feeling weary tonight. Six days walking ... tired feet and body. But ... very very happy to be walking the Camino.
Walked to beach at the far end of the town. An absolutely pristine beach of fine white sand. The track then climbed up a narrow and rocky cliff, through shrubby growth of gorse and wild flowers. It was quite tough, in the heat and carrying a backpack. Great views from the top looking back at the beach below.
