27 July - Bruma to Sigüeiro
After yesterday's walk, which is the toughest stage of the Camino Inglés today's walk was more of a continuous descent, with a few up hill bits every now and then.
It was still a challenge, as the day started with some light rain, which later turned into heavy rain. Was a good opportunity to test out some of the gear I have been carrying around during the heatwave.
The Camino Inglés is quite different to the Camino Norte with its beautiful forests and small rural villages - very rustic.
Am feeling a bit sore, a few niggles here and there, but all things going to plan we should be walking into Santiago Compostella tomorrow.
Passed the final 20km way marker today.
Tonight we are staying in a private apartment in Sigüeiro - four bedrooms and a big bath. Luxury! Enjoyed a hot soak in the tub!
Favourite food of the Camino is pulpo ~ octopus, which we enjoyed tonight.
Exciting day tomorrow as we walk the last stage of the Camino.
