3 August - Porto by foot

Enjoying staying in one spot for a few days. Have a lovely apartment on the top floor, 20 mins walk into the city.

Ventured out with map in hand to explore the local area. Lots of coffee shops, traditional grocery stores - it's not really a tourist area so was a good experience to be among the locals.  Had a much overdue manicure with a young Portugese girl who spoke just a little bit of English. 💅💅💅

The local church with its double steeple towers.

Next stop - into the city with crowds of weekend shoppers, tourists, families:

Insanely busy!!

Did a little bit of shopping 👌😎 and visited some amazing sites.  B & G were having a rest day so I went solo. Loved the shops... gorgeousness all around.

Porto Catholic Cathedral is built on the highest point of Porto. Love the 17th  century Gothic design. This is the starting point for walking the Porto to Santiago Camino.

View across Porto from Cathedral

Sao Bento railway station right across the road from the Cathedral

Such a shame to hear Jess has injured herself,  broken a bone in her foot.  Will spoil you when I get home darling ❤

Had a fantastic day in Porto
